What You’ll Learn In the HISET MATH Test Prep Course
Time is taken to explain fraction and decimals, basic number operations, variables and order of operations. Additionally, the course focuses on building a student’s skill and confidence to work with positive/negative numbers and fractions. Other parts of the course teach students in a step-by-step manner how to solve equations and inequalities. The topic of graphing lines is covered in depth along with writing the equation to a line.
Latter parts of the course cover powers, percents, ratios, proportions with a focuses on application and word problems. Basic systems and matrix operations are also explained at the appropriate level. Lastly the course reviews key geometry concepts to include area, surface area, volume and circles.
